Every game is greyer than real life unless it's over the top colours which are much more vibrant than real life. I don't think I've seen a game come close to real with colours.

GT5 is a nowadays game.
Jeez if they switched the hud I probably would have believed that they were the other way around.
The game's colors still seem a bit too vibrant. almost cartoony to me.

it looks great, but it seems more perfect than real life making it unrealistic, such as (being nitpicky) repetitive textures and tree models and whatnot

Its great but...its still not quite there. The crash barriers, for example, are too "perfect"
If they added randomness to the textures and bumps to the models, it would look very realistic

motion blur does not exist in real life
It's not too difficult to accurately portray a grey texture with white lines on it. Not the most graphically impressive demo.

How can you say the handling in the game is atrocious when there are 1,000+ cars to drive? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
