Excellent. The first one was a good game with a really funny sense of humor (very Pythonesque), and I don't see how they can fuck it up too badly.
Then again they screwed up Zeno Clash II pretty bad so I can't be unreservedly optimistic about this one.
I don't know for sure, but wasn't the biggest complaint with the first one that the defences weren't very effective at all? They were showing off the defences being pretty effective, this looks interesting.
Also I cannot remember the name of that song, someone please help.

The louder song is "Dies Irae", specifically the one from Mozart's Requiem Mass.
I'm not sure exactly what the quiet song is, but it's some traditional Gregorian chant. An Exultet maybe? There's not enough of it for me to look up.

"Dies Irae" from Mozart's Requiem

The hymn is badly chopped up in the trailer, has no meaning or purpose, a filler intro-outro for me (with 8y of Latin under my belt) ...
I'm so happy that this is getting another game in the series. I feel like the original was greatly overlooked. It gave me so much pleasure just slamming into shit and watching the people fly.
I'm glad to see that the defenses have gotten an overhaul. The elephants actually have people in the towers to shoot you and the spring board with the trebuchet accurately shooting the rocks at you made me happy.
The art period aspect is going to be super cool

Zeno Clash 2 was fine. The combat wasn't as fluid in comparison to 1, but the exploration was top notch and it had more of a longevity to it. They wanted to try something different, and I was fine with that.
This looks like it's going to be pretty damn funny.
The first one was hillarious. That scene with Da Vinci as the architect from the Matrix. Amazing.
