This is what I like from stories outside the main ones, expansion of the lore and the world
What was the mention about Dumbledore in there? my hearings pretty shitty and i couldn't get it.

They were wondering what Dumbledore saw in Newt Scamander

Dumbledore was the only teacher that advocated for Newt Scamander to stay at Hogwarts rather than be expelled.
Harry Potter is one thing that just... DESERVES a spin off
it's imaginative, it's energetic, it's easy to enjoy every character in it. it's just great entertainment, and less HP would just blow.
h*ll yeah more harry potter
wtf my dad saw that thanks
My tired ass mind read it as "breast" and I got sort of confused about what the movie was about.
I never read the books and only saw the first two movies but I'm interested in this. From what little I've seen of it, I really like the world of Harry Potter.
I should get around to reading the books some time.

Listen to the audiobooks by Jim Dale. You'll be a new man afterwards. It was seriously life changing.
I'm so fucking excited for more harry potter lore. OH MY GODDDDDDddd.
This could give so much insight to the world wow. I also love the victorian feel to this film, two of my favorite things combined into one movie. Count me in.
What makes this book fun is that it's basically just a field guide. If you buy it, it's made to look as if it were checked out of the Hogwarts library, and has all sorts of doodles from Harry and Ron in it

I'll definitely give it listen, then!

he's hiding them in his suitcase I think
Man
I'm hyped
because it's in the 1920's and love that old american vibe
It's a shame they're using the shitty aesthetic the later films adopted, no robes etc. Doesn't really fit in with the way wizards are described in the books. And they can all fly for no reason in the films.

Or he's just in muggle clothes?
[editline]10th April 2016[/editline]
Maybe the wizarding infrastructure isn't as fleshed out in America and people regularly travel through muggle areas to get to places.
fuck yeah it's Harry Potter without Harry Potter.
I love the universe and world of Harry Potter but I hate Harry & Squad and everything revolving around them. So this is perfect.

They're using the same "wizards wearing muggle clothes" thing that started in POA which isn't surprising. They're using the same apparation effects as well, I suppose for continuity. I just imagined it differently as a kid I guess.

Best thing about star trek is that it didn't just revolve around certain people after a point, and actually took the massive plot it had the potential for and ran with it. It got loads of dosh this way.
Happy to see HP do the same

So basically you want a world based on marvels Thor but with a bunch of nerdy ass wand flickers instead of buff boulder punching gods
Wow they're terrible at tic tac toe
It's wizards tic tac toe, different rules mate

I got the book for World Book Day or Comic Relief (whenever it was released) as a kid, and absolutely adored it and the quidditich one.
Honestly when you're a wee lad, harry potter is one of the sickest literary universes and I'm glad there's going to be more expanded Universe stuff
This is what I like from stories outside the main ones, expansion of the lore and the world
This was always my biggest gripe with HP although I never read the books. Such potential for an amazing fantasy world but the way magic worked kinda sucked and they made occasional references to this huge world and other schools yet Hogwarts was like its own little contained universe.
My tired ass mind read it as "breast" and I got sort of confused about what the movie was about.
If the inevitable pornographic parody isn't called Fantastic Breasts, something is wrong with this world.
