I pictured something much worse.
since when was nokia pronounced like that
Why does a multi-billion dollar company like MS have such consistently bad commercials?
since when was nokia pronounced like that
Since always. How the hell did you pronounce it? [editline]1st May 2013[/editline]
Why does a multi-billion dollar company like MS have such consistently bad commercials?
that commercial was fucking awesome.
Since always. How the hell did you pronounce it?
Everyone I know pronounces it "Nok-ia" rather than "No-Kia" like in the advert.
Everyone I know pronounces it "Nok-ia" rather than "No-Kia" like in the advert.
I always pronounced it the way they did in the video.

the problem with windows phone is that it has almost no good apps not that i dont like it i actually like the UI :D
They should of stuck to Windows Mobile. It's open and has as many good apps as iOS if not more.
the problem with windows phone is that it has almost no good apps not that i dont like it i actually like the UI :D
You don't really need any usermade apps on the Lumia. I run barely 3 custom ones (Flixster, 627 .AM and Note Plus) and the rest is all the vanilla stuff. Works wonders.

That's the impression I get reading forums. Windows Phone is a nice change in terms of app quality (changed from Android) as a lot of non official apps are actually very good.
Unity is adding the ability to export to Windows 8 App store and Windows phones, so it's not long until they get more games.

I wonder if Apple will sue them for using their logo.
Everyone I know pronounces it "Nok-ia" rather than "No-Kia" like in the advert.
How the fuck do you even pronounce "Nok-ia"? Also, I'm a Finn, so I can assure you, it's pronounced No-Kia. I used to live within a few kilometers of a Nokia factory, and had some friends whose parents worked there, so it's kind of a familiar word. Though, I have to say, there's just something... off when foreigners say Nokia. You try to sneak a U in there, so it becomes Nou-kia. Sounds really weird.

In the UK it's generally pronounced knock-ear, (Which I am aware is different from the Finnish). It's even pronounced that way in commercials and the like. [editline]2nd May 2013[/editline] Also I don't understand the whole "windows phone has no apps" argument. I've been using mine since October and haven't found I've needed it do do anything that it doesn't already do vanilla.
If you want an indestructible phone that can take the best pictures and videos out of any phone on the market, and don't care about filling your phone up with apps, the Nokia Lumia 920 is fucking amazing.
I'm considering buying something running Windows Phone. I'm using anroid right now but I notice more and more I don't need apps in the billions, yet I don't want a damn iPhone.
Funny and very accurate..... even showing Microsoft phones sitting on the sideline just watching.

Jesus, you could've been well-off with a fancy featurephone.
Ehh, I don't use my HTC Radar for much else than some limited browsing, doing SMS, making calls, taking pictures and then a boatload of music listening. The experience is just a lot better than on a feature phone - that's pretty much the reason I wanted one.
They should of stuck to Windows Mobile. It's open and has as many good apps as iOS if not more.
have you ever used windows mobile
have you ever used windows mobile
Yes, from 2008 - 2011, and that's because I left it in my pocket, and it went through the washer.
