Alien: Isolation Official Announcement Gameplay Trailer - General

Trying to not get my hopes up for it after Colonial Marines but still, this might be good. From what I've read about it, seems like it's Amnesia meets Aliens, which sounds good and should play well. A lot of the gameplay relies on avoidance and stealth.

Looks absolutely brilliant but after A:CM it would be foolish to get super hyped. It's made by different company, right? The one thing I'm afraid of is some scenes looked heavily scripted.

I wont even try to get my hopes up, this has a bigger chance of being a total failure than actually being a good game. DO NOT PRE-ORDER THIS UNLESS PROVEN THE GAME IS GOOD ALREADY IN ALPHA STAGE :v:

Those are some pretty graphics.

I really hope it`s good, but after the mega disappointment I received from AVP 2010 + Colonial Marines, I`m going to wait until the reviews come in till I even glance at it.

And then watch PewDiePie play it and then everyone will do Let's Play videos of them getting scared and blah blah...

The survival-horror genre is perfect for this.

Dunno why everyone is so apprehensive because of 1 game made by a completely different studio. CA is a great studio, albeit they've only made Total War and Sonic ports until now.

The last good one was AVP2 which came out in like 2000. Most people are just sick of getting fucked over by shitty Alien/Predator games.

Why would you be afraid to be hyped for this when it's not even by the same team? Actually investigate the product and what the devs want to make out of the game before jumping to conclusions.

Because the past few Alien games all sucked, and they were made by different teams. Colonial Marines Infestation AVP 2010 Extinction All sucked.

I don't know, how long can a game based around escaping from a single enemy go on without getting tedious/ridiculous? Amnesia was great, but can CA really hit that same note?

Looks promising, but one should still remain cautious until someone gives it the all-clear.

Alien was more horror, whereas Aliens was more action-y, so the Alien universe is really set for either.

Only games that were based on the 80's action of the second film.

Instead of jumping to conclusions they are waiting how it will turn out.

I remember reading a couple of months ago that there was supposed to be an Aliens arcade game released later this year, similar to Aliens: Extermination. Is this something entirely different? I'm not sure this is the same game I'm thinking of.
