Every time I hear about new stuff for this game I get excited and then remember that I backed it and already own it, but I still haven't really had a chance to play it. Are the servers alive?

I've been meaning to get back in to it recently. Its such a kick in the nostalgia, having played GMT at launch. I actually still have [url=http://i.imgur.com/EStrnEb.png]the song[/url] that was used for the Heart powerup in the deathmatch minigame.
Whats the status on the Laser Tag as well?

Yeah, instead you have to unite and make your own.
Hopefully this brings a better way of obtaining Units. Right now it feels very very grindy.

We're going to be looking at stats this week and balancing the casino as we see fit. But for the most part grand quest is a pretty good way to make a quick buck.

I always thought that was part of the charm, though. The fact that they managed to do all that [I]in Gmod[/I] was astounding. Nobody had ever seen anything like it.
Definitely love how far the game has come, I remember donating back when I first found out about it. That was a few years back.
If you donated back then, does it get you anything now? I've been holding off on buying the game for now, but I'm debating getting into it again.

If you launch Tower it should recognize that you were a GMTower donor and it'll give you some neat stuff like:

Been meaning to pick this up forever. Does it still have any of the FPS gamemodes you can earn credits in? I'm assuming Ultimate Chimera Hunt isn't in for legal reasons, is there something similar to replace it? That was my fave mode in GMT.

Answered my own questions with Google, for any wondering there is a copyright safe replacement for UCH in development apparently, and there are FPS/PVP oriented gamemodes in there and under dev.
This has a lot of potential since you can do all sorts with the gamemodes, really hope it works out well and can keep expanding.
Been waiting since June for this, time to reinstall Tower Unite and kill time.

Some early footage of that slot they showed actually used a soundclip from this short, too.
It's cool to see "The Tower" go from a simple gmod addon to a completely different level.

I remember saying this a while ago when you first released your kickstarter trailer for this and also for your release trailer, but I'm seriously impressed with how much love and care you seem to be putting into this. If memory serves me right, GMT was this sort of duct-taped, cobbled mess but it was so vast and expansive with little easter eggs and secrets that it felt like a whole new game. I remember spending a great many hours in the old tower before it went down, and to see it remade and so pretty is pretty amazing. I am rather curious as to how deep of an extent character design is in this though, since i remember the old tower having about 200 player models to muck about with plus little things you could tack on. I noticed everyone's woefully human at the moment and that's alright, i'm just curious to see if I can replicate my old robotic president I made sometime in the future.
Anyways, keep up the good work! Proud of you guys.
