This was bad but the worst ive seen was a while back when that basketball player fell and the bone popped out of his leg. iirc nearly everyone who saw it happen vomited
I rewatched the landing a couple times and the landing didn't seem to be botched to do that kind of damage.
What sucks even more is that he missed the previous Olympic Games in London due to an injury to his right leg. Hopefully he can break his streak of bad luck if he qualifies for the next Olympics in 2020.
