Eeeh i dunnnoo~
I really dont like the style
Yea same maybe if it starts to become dark I may get into it but I would need to see more to judge but so far ehhhhhh.
I like the use of the OT music, sounds like a remix, not the original.
How does she understand what the droid is saying?
They did the same thing with clone wars, showed most of the lighter tone stuff in the previews. [editline]19th April 2014[/editline]
How does she understand what the droid is saying?
Because Star Wars, it happens in all the films and series.
How does she understand what the droid is saying?
Most characters to appear in the franchise are more than likely multilingual. I think it's very rare for any SW characters to not know alien/droid languages.
i would give it a chance.
How does she understand what the droid is saying?
There's always at least one character who can tell what the droid/alien is saying for no given reason other than the writers needing them to understand a sequence of beeps/grunts/whistles. Also those blasters sounded horrible.
At least they're not reusing all of R2-D2s sounds from the movies like they did in Clone Wars, and every damn game. Maybe except KOTOR? I don't remember what T3 sounded like.
I expect a The Clone Wars style thing, particularly since most of the staff is there. The first season is bland, and it gradually picks up in quality as Disney starts letting the writers do what they want.

I swear the first three sounds the droid uttered at the beginning sounded like "what the fuck"
Bring Ashoka back pls

That is some buttery smooth animation. mmmmmmm

I don't remember what T3 sounded like.
KOTOR 1 T3 had his own beeps, but they were rather droll and lacked character. Though maybe that's just because of how Bioware wrote him in that game. As it were, KOTOR 2 used R2 sounds, but at least there they helped me get his character as Obsidian wrote him, and they didn't quite sound like R2 all the time.
A attempt to cash in on Star Wars Episode VII no doubt
This is star wars for babies and children, I really don't see why I should watch it at all. It's all poofy and friendly and sterile, and just looks plain... horrible. What the hell happened to star wars? its pretty unfair to compare at this point, but at least TRY to go down Star Treks path and make the shows about the fans and not babies and old people alike if SW7 isn't following much of the originals traditions and is really bad despite being apparently something truly new and original, SW will be confirmed something that is irredeemably terrible. If they fuck it up, I hope Star Wars ceases to exist. I mean, I liked the clone wars show, and it did wrap a lot that the movies screwed up real nice with a bow, but even that had its flaws. [sp]such as palpatine with duel light-sabers, I mean, what the fuck, really dude? in the originals He literally discards the idea of even using them, as if he's far more powerful than needing one[/sp] The prequels could have been the most amazing thing ever, but at this point, the lists that show Lucas as a pioneer of Scifi but don't have Gene Roddenberry in there as well, are doing it wrong. yeah the originals were masterpieces, but are we ever going to see that ever again with star wars? I'm not even saying to be exactly like the originals, but come on.
This is star wars for babies and children,.
People said the exact same things about Clone Wars when it first came out.
People said the exact same things about Clone Wars when it first came out.
if it proves good, then I'll watch it if not, then fuck it I'll have to wait for second season though. (Usually) the first is a terrible example, and even a good season one can be from a bad show, and vice versa. I loved Clone wars, but if this feels like an even "younger" show then its a no.
Well it is being made by the same people who did Clone Wars, so I have hopes.
why do they have to have the kawaii tentacle hair race be the female hero. Just put a female chewbacca in there instead
why do they have to have the kawaii tentacle hair race be the female hero. Just put a female chewbacca in there instead
I vote female jawa
There are so many races in Star Wars they could have done any one, of course they only chose one most people have heard of, how boring.
Christ, does every protagonist smuggler type character in the Star Wars universe have to fly a YT model? Like they're cool and all, but give me something different.
Heh. The first noises out of the droid sounds like someone mumbling "What the fuck"
i think they're trying to do a betrayal of expectations thing twileks in the movies are all strippers. so the tough independent girl in this is a twilek. but i'm afraid they'll try too hard and just make her this constant source of motherly finger wagging and annoyed frustration who exists only to go "GEEZE WHY CAN'T YOU GROW UP CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING MAN WHY DO I EVEN HAVE YOU PEOPLE HERE GOD SPACE IS SO DUMB UGH"
I vote female jawa
I wish Jawas in general got more screen time. They're really awesome and there were actually a lot of awesome Jawas, like Tek: He's basically the Ugly, but shorter.
