I love all of their stuff so much. That was awesome. [editline]edit[/editline] It's just so incredible that it's hard for me to understand that it's probably a 1 go with minor editing. And even though they probably had to reshoot some of the parts and put them together in the end, this is still amazing.
In their next video, they should be really original by doing something that's been done before.
The ultimate gimmicks band, not a fan of their music but at least their videos are awesome.
OK Go never fails to disappoint.
I love OK Go, their videos and their music. Especially End Love. And nobody can say that I'm too mainstream for liking them!!
the fact its just a show case for chevy's new car
That was pretty awesome [editline]5th February 2012[/editline]
the fact its just a show case for chevy's new car
Who gives a fucking shit. They got the money they needed to do this awesome music video to a new song, and they pulled off something spectacular. Again. Maybe if every commercial was half as good as this music video they wouldn't make me want to shoot myself every time I was forced to watch them.
the fact its just a show case for chevy's new car
Well I'm sure Chevrolet provided the expenses for that video, which I'd say were fucking huge.
this is amazing
Those PVC pipes are ear sex.
Well I'm sure Chevrolet provided the expenses for that video, which I'd say were fucking huge.
Yes, it was used in their superbowl ad.
Is it just me or did it sound like they added some extra 'cooler' car noises in there? :v:
they should spend as much time on their music as their videos
holy shit
the fact its just a show case for chevy's new car
Put it this way: Yes, chevy did front the expenses and in return, they used a chevy brand car. BUT! The music video did not showcase the car, the car was driven with many modifications so it could play music, the chevy logo is not inherently present and you just see it a few times. The car is driven in a typical fashion and doesn't have its handling or acceleration or safety or comfort highlighted in the video. Chevy also didn't plaster their promotional slogans and logos everywhere nor did they even have a little spot at the end. It's HARDLY a showcase for the car, it's more of chevy just providing funding in return of some feeble promotion.
look at 1:10. The piano goes on even though the car is moving away. Awesome if it was real though.
There's no way in hell it'd be real anyways. Matching the cars speed to the song and pulling all the transitions to the new setups without messing up the tempo would be insanely difficult.
look at 1:10. The piano goes on even though the car is moving away. Awesome if it was real though.
Of course it is fake you dunkass
Does the actual song sound that bad?
Sounds like most of it was recorded in a studio.
There's no way in hell it'd be real anyways. Matching the cars speed to the song and pulling all the transitions to the new setups without messing up the tempo would be insanely difficult.
Not only that but singing as to do it
Awesome video.
The actual song is amazing too.
look at 1:10. The piano goes on even though the car is moving away. Awesome if it was real though.
They clearly just did it over and over until they had enough good footage and enough good sounding audio to mix and match to make the entire video. It's still impressive as shit though and I do reckon they repeatedly did the entire track over and over without stopping.
