I love this guy's videos.
A classic example is the story of the kid who said he wanted to carry a gun, or the guy, after 9/11 said something along the lines of 'I looked out the window and saw this American Airlines jet, and it was like a missile' and it was cut to make it sound like I looked out the window and saw a missile
These tricks are quite useful to spot time cuts. And I have a feeling that now everytime I see a cutaway to the interviewer bobbing his head, I am going to assume it is a shortener. And probably due to a small bit of paranoia, assume that it is misquoted in some direction.
