For 6 months now, a modest TF2 community has striven to rebuild the forgotten empire of jumping. On every field (trading bots, TF2 servers, social networks, official website), we have worked on a unique mentoring system to provide jump help for any player, beginner or pro jumper, and created a brand new jump community which gathers the best jumpers and less advanced players who share the same passion.Today, I am proud to introduce you to our brand new movie, Zero to Hero, in collab with the incredible SFM movie makers Callegos Yavolitak, the Winglet & MrEtmer; a 5-minute story of what jumping could become thanks to our modest project.
Enjoy the show.
that was cute.
I was expecting the Danny Devito song.
I was expecting the Muses song from Hercules.
I was expecting Sarah Connor
If you like vids about jumping like this, there is a whole bunch of them under the name Defrag

Very Well made!
Eh. It was neat but I never liked how people mix stock animations with self-made ones. The contrast between the two are too obvious. It's a bit like whenever Valve mixes motion capture with keyed animations.
Also the title kinda felt like bait because I expected someone to have made a "remake" of the Disney's Hercules vocal number but in SFM. So I was a bit disappointed.
It also dragged on a bit.
But it gets a 6/10 for trying.

How is this dumb...?
my momma said playing videogames will get you nothing but then i got a teddy rosebelt drop on the jumpacademy server
What's the song at the start? it doesn't sound like the ones they listed
cute.
ngl the intro was a bit much
the rest is pretty good though
The jumping community is still a thing?
I should get back to it.
I think it's a clever use of SFM, generating promotional work made for a community using assets from the game they are passionate about. I'd so so far to say that this is an ideal usage scenario for the toolset, at least better then just making a poster of like a custom loadout or something.
I thought at the end he'd blow himself up from trying to rocket jump too many times.

Constructive criticism = dumb
There's something soothing about watching jumping videos.
Oh man that was awesome. Very well made. I don't know if it was just me, though, but did the quality itself seem sort of bad for 1080p? Lots of other SFM 1080p videos look amazing but this one looked sort of "meh".

How was the video dumb if you gave it a 6/10
Constructive criticism = dumb
He himself rated the video dumb

People use the "dumb" rating and "disagree" rating interchangeably at times.
