I'm pretty interested in this game but I want to know how the single player is, I'm not really interested in multiplayer.
The singleplayer cutscenes are really good.

It's just favor, which means that group enhances a ship, it's not representative of them. Like space marine favor doesn't give you space marine ships, but we will be getting space marines as a full faction later.
Its also balanced for SP play, they're doing what homeworld did and tweak the multi as time goes on
