[URL="https://twitter.com/spacetwinks"]Spacetwinks[/URL] isn't a name that's likely to be recognized outside certain twitter circles and a quick glance at his work would give less "comic critic" and more "furry sjw who complains a lot" but I still think his essay and [URL="https://spacetwinks.itch.io/the-problems-with-comics"]an earlier piece on comics in general[/URL] are interesting and worth a look at. He knows what he's talking about, and he's done enough writing to turn out something that's engaging to read. He regularly puts out twitter threads on comics/movie marketing related drama and they're a treat, but something that's aimed at a more general audience, and that is easier to read, seems worth publicizing.

I can tell you for certain that the terrible shit Diamond does, the hilariously huge overship and the way events shit on sales are all real things I've witnessed first or second hand.

Im currently reading it, but what arguments specifically?
Im still early in it but a lot of what ive read ive seen or talked about before.
