fuck, that was awesome
I use this Channel as News Source. Didn't want to venture through lots of articles about the Ferguson Incident where half of them are probably biased as fuck. Interesting and funny at the same time though I check and research some of the stuff he talks about. The most powerful Police Force here is the WEGA and the Cobra Force and they are wearing normal dark blue armor. WEGA is basically SWAT. They rarely get used and when they do its in every Newspaper for several days. There was some insane Hunter in 2013 who shot a bunch of officers which prompted a response by the Cobra Force. Following this he also shot a Cobra Agent and 2 arriving paramedics and then hid in his hunting cabin. There were around 200 active officers a different version of a MRAP from WEGA and a fucking Military APC in action. Police Helicopters were also also used afaik. The last time so many officers died was right after the second World War and probably also the last time so much force was used. For anybody who is interested, the The Annaberg Shooting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_Annaberg_shooting
This video is quite true, however, one event comes to mind that kinda puts things into perspective: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Hollywood_shootout Police of the day were severely outgunned not having access to more powerful rifles. And it's not like they dress up and go commando every day, they are responding to the threat of violence.
