Gears of Future Warfare: Advanced RIGFIGTER™
what happened
are you fucking kidding me
That last part looked so silly with a grown man just squatting down with no expression on his face and casually stretching his out arm out to save Isaac.
Holy shit, They've both mutilated the story and the gameplay.
Ah yes, a "horror game"
we have dismissed that claim
I didn't know horror games involved getting into big firefights with copious amounts of ammo and explosions everywhere.
Oh god when he uses stasis on the cars. What the hell did he think was going to happen?
what the fuck happened this looks like an average shitty shooter
Funny how it shows the first few minutes without the necromorph parts or any context.
Video is pretty biased really, this is the only part that's like this and then it goes back to a regular Dead Space-styled journey. There are also parts with necromorphs in this mission but they cut it out.
Holy shit I didn't expect to see that many human enemies

Yeah. You can do the same thing with literally every game.
Would you guys find Half Life 2 appealing if I showed a video that was only the bits where you're forced to spend half an hour in the labs, or when you're forced to use the airboat?

It's called pacing and being thrown into huge action scenes like this isn't something I particularly enjoy having thrown at me in the first few minutes.
I used to dislike this game and I still do, but this video really is biased. After you escape (aka finish the first mission) there's little to no human enemies, and they usually have their asses handed to them by nearby necromorphs.
I don't like how the unitologists or whatevers they're called have gone from super evil cult to durr space terrorists.
Yeah and there's absolutely no need to cover or roll later in the game. I was surprised by that.
automerge

Have you actually experienced the first bit of the game, or are you taking this edited video at face value?
What the fuck happened with ea? Early on this gen they were awesome and publishing a shitton of unique game series most publishers looked over. They weren't all great but the sheer variety and uniqueness far made up for it.
Then they went through a period were they weren't publishing as many new ip's but they were giving solid follow ups to existing ones. They weren't super fresh but they did a good job expanding and refining the gameplay mechanics.
And now they're in some sort of retardation were they're sacrificing everything good about their series in order to appeal to a wider demographic of people who barely even play games. I mean look what they've been giving us lately.
We got a no skill needed sequel to dragon age (A game which was almost brutally challenging at times) which had only a fraction of the content and spirit of the previous game.
A half baked conclusion to the mass effect series. Meh plot, little to no character interaction, and shitty endings.
The shipwreck that is the tortanic.
And now we've got a generic cover based shooter pretending to be a horror game.
lmao showing the first 10 minutes of the game and not the immediately change in pace when the necromorphs show up and you never see a human enemy for the next 5 hours
stay classy haters
Even if this is a small part of the game, it's one of the most shittiest ideas I've seen in a long time.
most shittiest
How people still manage to do this is beyond me.

this. the human fights are very short and don't show up often at all. this game is getting a lot of shit for that.
honestly the soldier fighting parts just look like F.E.A.R.
i'm going to wait until my friend can get it too, give single player a go and then co-op.
I personally think that the human enemies actually kind of mix up from shooting at necromorphs all the time, besides most of the time the human enemies are present they are getting mauled at by necromorphs.
But yeah, judging first 5 minutes of a game with the entire game, not really smart.

Dead Space 2 started right in the middle of an action scene but I didn't see anyone complain about that
I think he knew what was going to happen. The real questions are:
1) Why are they cars? Doesn't really seem to fit.
2) Why are they so badly animated?
3) WHY THE HELL DOES TIME HAVE TO SLOW DOWN
Damn its private now.
Video is private, anyone else got another?
Okay uhm, just got it, it's pretty much unplayable
Other than ragdolls flying everywhere, the game stutters like fuck
It's like playing an MP game where the other players have very high ping, except for everything
Even when I turn to look round, it's like the camera is skipping or something (as if it were on a piece of rubber and being pushed over the floor)
Everything has it, even the enemies
there are cars because you're on a planet with people [/sp]but that doesn't last very long[/sp]
because you hardly ever fight humans, i've killed maybe 20 in total now
because stasis
[editline]5th February 2013[/editline]
just youtube dead space 3 first ten minutes of gameplay or something because thats literally this
No as in it goes all CoD to look ~cool~ and zooms in and explosions and whatever
(Rather than just that car slowing down)
Super biased video.
They not only cut out the parts with necromorphs, but immediately after this intro, it goes back to being Dead Space. Seriously, the human enemies are fucking RARE after this part of the game.
