I just ordered peter jacksons king kong for the xbox 360 after watching this. One of my best ps2 games as a kid, excited to play it again
The guy who is doing the mo-cap for Kong did the mo-cap for Koba in the new Planet of the Apes movies. This looks pretty good too, that shot with his silhouette in front of the sun looks so good
So is he gonna have lightning powers or what? [editline]16th November 2016[/editline] Also, "Good For Your Health" dont think i didnt notice like that.
What is it with reboots just randomly dropping one word from the title of the older movie.
What is it with reboots just randomly dropping one word from the title of the older movie.
They dont have the rights to use King iirc
heh, is that "Good for your health" jacket on John C. Reilly a reference to Dr. Steve Brule?
my main nigga john c reilly is finally doing serious roles
my main nigga john c reilly is finally doing serious roles
cant tell if you're serious this trailer was wayyyyy too comedic.
I like that it's not taking itself seriously. I mean it's a movie about a giant ape.
if u want reilly doing serious roles, go watch gangs of new york or chicago. also, what a coincidence that i make a joke in another thread about fortunate son playing in this since it's set in the 60s, and this fucking trailer drops a ccr song?
I like that it's not taking itself seriously.
"You're dropping bombs?" *shot of smirking bomber pilot with flames reflecting off his aviator glasses* "More like scientific instruments!" UUUuuuuuuuguuhhhghhghg
enough is enough i've had it with these mother fuckin apes on this mother fuckin plane
cant tell if you're serious this trailer was wayyyyy too comedic.
I'm sick and tired of super serious monster reboots. And there is a first trailer that is less comedic.
I mean if there's one insane comedic relief character who turns out to be both informative and insane, then I'm okay with that in a "serious" movie. I could never really take any monster film seriously Except Slither fuck that shit is scary
T 2005 Kong felt kinda like a fan film. This looks more legit, but I'm getting some Godzilla 14' vibes, and I don't like it...
iirc isn't this gonna tie in with the Godzilla film in a crossover?
I mean if there's one insane comedic relief character who turns out to be both informative and insane, then I'm okay with that in a "serious" movie.
I have a feeling the whole movie wont be John C Riley making jokes.
Because Eugene Cordero and Mark Evan Jackson have to make some jokes too
iirc isn't this gonna tie in with the Godzilla film in a crossover?
I believe so. And this movie is is by the same producers as Godzilla 2014.
Thats the fuckin one were weird ass little grubs crawl inside of people, right?
Yeah that's a part of it it gets so much worse Body horror doesn't usually get me, I love watching Cronenberg films, but holy god does Slither fuck with me
I believe so. And this movie is is by the same producers as Godzilla 2014.
2020 is the reported year for the crossover, with a second godzilla movie in-between that and Kong
CRAWLERS IN THE WIRE! CALL IN THE WILLY PETE!
Yeah that's a part of it it gets so much worse Body horror doesn't usually get me, I love watching Cronenberg films, but holy god does Slither fuck with me
To me the comedy aspect of Slither outshines the horror tbh. Fucking love this shit. Nathan Fillion's complete non-expression at 1:54 is fuckin priceless
[t]http://i.imgur.com/abajNvh.png[/t] i'm excited for this film. definitely is a stark contrast compared to godzilla and that makes it way more interesting for me.
the crew at 1:18 lookin like the next power rangers cast
at least they didnt use fortunate son I guess
iirc John said that Steve Brule was his funnest character to play so i can see why he/they wanted to make some references I really hope that some sweet berry wine will appear in the movie
What if the trailer has all the fun parts in to make it look like a fun-flick but when you actually see it it turns out to be quite serious? Wouldn't be the first time.
At 2:08 it sounds like a damn electric airsoft gun lol.
