If this is what the new Pokemon games were like, I'd play the shit out of them.
i will never understand the lasting appeal of pokemon
i mean i liked it alright as a kid but nobody else seems to have gotten over it
why would you want to play that over the same game but with better graphics, sound, and gameplay? i mean it's neat to imagine what they would look like in the gameboy era but i don't understand wanting the gameboy's hardware limitations over something like the 3ds

I think he means it as just out growing it. For me, I'm a 'smalltime' fan of pokemon since I don't go out of my way to watch the new episodes or buy the newest games right when it comes out.
demakes are neat but no rational pokemon fan would limit their experience like that
