I'm not a corporate shill
That's exactly what a corporate shill would say. Wish I had faster internet in my area. We have Talk Talk fibre which isn't terrible, around 35 down, but only 1 up. I'd like to try streaming but can't really with that upload speed.
oh wow they have the ship i use in destiny in that commerical (tho with a different paint color and those two wings not on the bottom) good shit
it's like a superbowl commercial except it's not 5 hours long
I have no issues with my vm fibre, apart from the shitty hub wifi, but that was rectified with my own router.
VM is great for Downloads and recommend them if that's all you care for but personally moved away when BT Infinity became available in my area due to shit Upload tied with thresholds.
So, it's really congested and there's massive packet loss? Note taken.
I have no issues with my vm fibre, apart from the shitty hub wifi, but that was rectified with my own router.
I have their v2 hub with 5ghz wireless and its been great so far. I will be replacing it so I can switch my DNS server centrally though. £42/m for 70/10
Aw man, I thought this was US based
Aw man, I thought this was US based
Competition is not allowed, sorry
So, it's really congested and there's massive packet loss? Note taken.
This is a p. common issue with VM actually. 3 of the 4 locations I have had it (2 of them were connected to the same exchange), I have suffered issues with high pings, packet loss and disconnects during peak times sometimes every day. Just look at the gaming/help sections on their forums, filled with people complaining that their connections are unplayable for gaming and I suspect it's down to them massively oversubscribing a lot of places. People seem to either love or hate the big ISPs, I have known people that hated BT and had never had issues with VM, but for me BT has always been fastest with no issues, and with their fiber packages they give fair upload speeds unlike VM massively capping your upload despite offering nice download speeds.
it was all watchable , until the 1:17 ... that ruined it and the speech at the end ... if this was ad for me, everyone in marketing is fired ...

Really annoying but isn't much else in my area

Virgin are a bit shit. Sure it might be fast, but it's quite unstable and you'll have at least 1 outage per month oh and every ~3 months they accidentally block imgur for no reason so you have to yell at them to fix it
oh and every ~3 months they accidentally block imgur for no reason so you have to yell at them to fix it
So it WAS them that were causing it.
