Well it does have more detail than what they are currently are showing in h1z1. The quality of these textures in this current build of h1z1 look terrible.

Yeah I think this is still in Alpha. The building textures on DayZ aren't that much better though.
more of the "cars are super rare and every car became completely broken down and rusted over after a year"
cars should be common with gas being rare, having cars be rare makes no sense at all
i mean what happened to them? did they just magically disappear? why would the thousands of survivors strip down every car and then toss away the parts?

Smedly said the game could not even be considered alpha at this point. It's just a prototype of an idea.

I think he means functioning vehicles. If gas was super rare then there's not much point in getting a car.

Lighting things on fire seems really cool. Imagine noticing a camper in the middle of thick brush and woods, then just turning and burning to throw them off your trail.
Well my only real complaint is that sausage-y guy on the left spinning stupid fictions to ham up small "details".
Like you'll notice it every time he's talking about zombies that are pursuing him, "Are they still chasing me? PROBABLY" and looks back and their caught on a wall.
Another time, they lose aggro because they couldn't keep up and then resume their previous state: "OH THERE LOOKING FOR ME LOL".
Or when the Jeep starts driving in reverse after he exits the vehicle, "maybe I stepped on the pedal" is the only likely scenario and not an understandably buggy ass jeep...

if you watched the whole thing you can tell that he was having a blast.
I think it would be pretty cool to be the one to stream the first gameplay footage (minus the interview) of your game and to show it off.
I'd be pretty excited myself as the dev's.
The map looks really empty, it bothers me a lot. Did I miss anything? Did they say about adding more to it or something? Because now it's just a huge forest with roads and a few structures. Even the screenshot from a high vantage point makes it look like just a forest.

It's pre-alpha at this point. It's safe to say they will be adding more to it.

it looks [B]A lot[/B] like WarZ on a better engine, but this is alpha, so it most likely will improve a lot.

With luck they will do a big overhaul of the map as everything feels way to spaced out but like they said this is pre alpha so with luck it really is just something quickly thrown together.

It is funny as I do get mad WarZ vibes from this but I am going to keep shrugging them off until I see this game at a further point in development.

That always annoyed me in DayZ. Especially considering DayZ gets about 200% better when you've got a vehicle.
