I'm betting it's a budget thing more than laziness.
Disney XD has some really amazing animated shows, Star Vs The Forces Of Evil, Gravity Falls, the new Ducktales, all of these have really amazing art styles and animations, so what's up with Spidey? This looks like a newgrounds flash made without any kind of budget.
