There's a Kinect camera mounted on the wall.

It showed the close up shot of the sensor on the wall man. The sensor detects things thrown and controls where the bin goes. I think the bin only has a receiver, and there's only the one sensor on the wall.
Another great video showing that the Kinect is amazing [sp]for everything but games[/sp]! I wonder how much this would cost, also, do you think it could catch it if you threw it faster, or farther? Or would it just try and keep running into the trash, or just stop "chasing".
