It really makes you wonder if the whole "Americans don't want Obamacare" thing is really just because a lot of people against it have no idea what they are talking about.
You know how these things work right? They question a 100 people and pick the idiots out of that, because there's always few idiots out there who have something to say.
I could post a vid here on how tens of americans don't know where europe is and go "It really makes you wonder if americans are that dumb".

I appreciate the input, but, and I'm sure a lot of American Facepunchers can agree, this is way more prevalent than "just a couple of idiots". People legitimately don't understand how the Affordable Care Act actually works, and that's a mixture of blame to the complexity of the law in general, but also GOP attempts to muddle the issue with outright lies. Just take a look at Politifact, which tackled a lot of claims by both sides, some of which were rated "Pants on Fire"
It's a legitimate issue, and there is legitimate confusion. Yes, obviously they cherry pick the ones that genuinely screwed it up, but it highlights an incredibly important point.
as much as they pick the idiots out of a bunch who know the difference it does show that theres a bandwagon behind the whole hatred for Obamacare.
most people who are against it are against it because their republican leaders have told them to be against it

Exactly, and this partisan side-taking, completely ignoring the legitimate benefits/drawbacks, tears apart any opportunity for a real discussion. While people sit below, confused and angry, our elected officials in congress are still at odds, keeping the government shut down.
I've been watching c-span all day, and the one thing I've heard most from House GOP is "God, guys, the parks are closed, let's just keep those open please", completely ignoring the fact that almost a million federal workers are going without pay and without a way to provide for their families and pay their bills.
It's a completely one-sided shitfest, and this video illustrates how deluded people are, and how misinformed they are, thanks to the people they trust to keep their interests at heart.
How about all health care in this country is bullshit? Aren't we the only first world country that doesn't have universal health care? And instead it's a commodity to be sold at whatever price they want because it's Health care! You can't put a price on your health! You want the best, don't you? Just as disgusting as those people who sell those expensive ass coffins (wood boxes) saying you want the best for your dead loved ones, don't you?

Today some kid tried to argue that Obamacare will, in the year 2016, require you to put a chip in your head for no explainable reason.
And almost everyone believed him.
The problem is that people in this country are too fucking lazy to actually make an informed decision by looking this shit up themselves. I know what the so-called "Obamacare" does. I have a copy of it at my house because my Mom was required to read it by state law when it passed. But most people don't bother with that shit. They want politics to be an easy, black and white, my party is right and yours is wrong curbstomp because it requires so little effort when you can just be spoon-fed outright lies by Fox "News" and other shitty outlets.
People are lazy and conformist. It is far easier to just outright bash Obamacare rather than actually take time out of the day to check and see if what your party says is right. After all, if they say it, it MUST be true. They wouldn't lie, right?
There's a video exactly like this. Exactly.
Where they explain a couple of Obama's policies as if they were Romney's. The people get absolutely flippant, and then hilariously confused when they explain the set-up. And in short, is why these videos are good for nothing more than a laugh. :v:
