Tl;dw: don't watch Sony movies on the opening weekend other than Spider-Man Homecoming, tell others Venom is a dumb ploy to cash in on MCU and will probably suck.
But what about Deadpool 2? That's a sony movie.

That's Fox
-snip-
Disney/Marvel should be granted emergency custody of Spider-Man like those Daddyoffive kids.
What is it about with Pascal and Rothman who completely corrode and rot anything they touch?
This is why we can't have nice things.
God I want Sony Pictures to crumble or at least the likes of Amy Pascal to be fired.

Sony Pictures going under would be a blessing at this point tbh
Amy Pascal is the Dear Leader Kim of terrible business decisions
its not even funny, seeing the shit they do is genuinely agononizing
The not related to Spidey Venom movie is going to really throw people for a loop.
And I think that's what they're counting on. General Audience not realizing it's not even apart of MCU, but they like MCU's take of spidey so they go and see venom.
I really hope before that movie gets made Marvel gets full rights to Spider-man back

I mean, it's definitely on it's way.
Remember not to go see the Emoji Movie folks

Woof, thanks for reminding me, I was nearly about to go see it since it looks to be such a promising flick.
Some people see shit like it for family/kicks, at one point I was considering it and more recently considered seeing Boss Baby.
The reason I bring it up is because Sony is banking on its potential to keep going, so if it's a failure, its possible they'll actually sell off their assets. I'm pretty sure they specifically mentioned they were waiting to see the franchise potential before giving up on movies.

essentially an emoji movie boycott is a sony pictures boycott
