That is how it worked since the RvB started. Hell, it was back in Quake machinimas!

This is the intro to BF2 Pirates mod. I played BF42 Pirates for years, and the community was great.
Unfortunately BF2 is not suited to Pirates mod for a number of reasons. You can't stand on ships in BF2, and you can't block with knives, only attack... in BF42 you could block if you attacked at the same time with a knife, which means you can take on several people at once with a sword and win with some skill.
