Sick beats yo. Kanye West watch out.
Oh god, I'm sorry but this is just poor. As long as you have a half-decent computer you don't need to spend a penny to start making music. Tracker programs, while not exactly beginner-friendly, can often be free and are a great way to start learning to use VST instruments. Even if you don't have the knowledge or feel ready for that yet you can always just find some free samples online and start putting beats together with that. Furthermore, I at least find that making beats, though not necessarily good ones, is very easy compared to the rest of the composition of a track in making a lead, bass and other elements of a song. The video describes the program as making beats "effortless". Well where's the fun in that? It's like giving Photoshop an auto-paint tool that just makes an entire image for you based on a small number of simple parameters.
Regardless, the video edthefirst posted doesn't exactly have a "sick" beat in my opinion. I could create a beat just as good or better myself from scratch with some generic free VST instrument, and I really hope the program lets you actually apply filters to the sounds and such so your beats don't sound exactly the same as everyone elses that use the program, but for a program that basically tells you you don't have to learn any of the apparently useless or boring information you really should learn when making music, I'm not getting my hopes up.
For a better alternative I'd really suggest trying Audiotool, since it's based on how real synths work, is free and is still quite easy to use.
I've tried finding a decent free sequencer and my search turned up nothing.

This is a joke, right?
Just get FL Studio 9 free edition, there, you're already lightyears ahead of this crap.
The slang she awkwardly uses makes me want to kill myself.
"Professional mastered sounds"
Mastered sounds my ass. The stock samples in FL are better than this shit
we're down with the kids yo btw buy our software

Look at that list man, so many lies it's almost illegal
A very awesome video tbh.
Shame the product is 'Dr Drum' and not something half decent.
do you want to make sick beats that will impress your crew when you are hanging out and chilling? its time to make mad beatz with drum doctor, forget all that complicated music theory crap, yo
Dude, you can be better than Kanye West's producer? The guy that lazily resampled a daft punk song?
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY, MOTHERFUCKER
MAKE SOME BANGERS FOR YOUR GANG

I can't tell if the Kanye part is serious or not because Stronger is an awesome song and not lazily sampled.

Daft punk only version was good.
Kanye west was pretty eh with it from a creativity standpoint.
The instrumental bit.

Then you combine it with Kanye's rap (this version is slightly different than the album version).

I think it turned out awesome. I love Harder Better Faster Stronger, and I think Stronger is a pretty great track. Actually as far as production in the hip hop industry goes, Kanye is king.

I also like how the video says you can be better than Kanye's producer even though he produces most of his own tracks.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY, MOTHERFUCKER
why are you saying "Kanye's producer"
Kanye produced that song

sounds like an programm I would download from the android app store :v:
Damn, I guess it's time to sell all my analogue synths...
Dr. Drum is clearly what I need to improve my music.
Its funny cause no famous musician will use that crap.
Its funny cause no famous musician will use that crap.
Because everyone that considers buying this will never be famous!

Have you listened to your own "music"?
That was just awful. I've used FLStudio in the past and it doesn't have that steep of a learning curve that this video claims such professional music production software has.

Not cool dood, people make and like different music, no need to be a cunt about it.

It took about 3 hours for me to grasp most of what to do in fl, I still use tutorials from time to time, just to learn new shit.
I fucking died inside.
Also why do they call its fucking 44.1 sound its 44100 or 44.1k
Also 16 bit with 44100 isnt studio quality, its cd quality
24 bit with 44100 is studio, and what most pc usually output
Also why do they call its fucking 44.1 sound its 44100 or 44.1k
It's probably so bad that you can't even hear it. What you hear is your brain dying from the terribleness that is this program.
I see a link for this on every fucking youtube video.
It honestly makes me feel bad that someone might buy this.
It sounds like the commercial was scripted for a black guy but they just changed it to some suburban white girl at the last minute
Wow, you can do everything in this video and more with Audiotool. And Audiotool is completely free...
