I've seen him around for months on end. He always *reeks* of alcohol.
He also nearly got in a fight with one of my coworkers once and with someone on the bus.

I saw gas around that area is weekend and gas was as high as $3.50. I can see why it would take a 3 weeks for a full tank :v:

I'm surprised that i haven't seen many homeless people at google hq. Pan handling is better in SF I guess.

I dunno. It's kind of nice when someone actually calls these people out and he did it responsibly. He didn't touch her, didn't actually harass her just made her look like a fool and a fraud on camera and it worked.
There is a dude at my work who does the same shit. He takes taxi's, gets starbucks and than goes around the parking lot asking for money. He caught me one day saying he was starving so I offered him left over pizza but all he wanted was money, so I knew he was full of shit. Than I had to deal with complaints because he'd go up to elderly people in their cars and aggressively knock on their windows and ask for money. Than he started coming in my store and shoplifting.
So it's just kinda nice seeing someone get caught out finally. The [i]real[/i] homeless people in my community don't panhandle. They collect cans and stuff. I see them everyday, but these dudes make a lot of money just begging and lying.
There is a dude at the end of my shopping plaza who says he's a homeless vet but I saw him get into a really need Cadillac once and drive away when he was done begging.

As someone who lives in Portland I find that very hard to believe.
These people are scum and undermine the folks who are actually in need. I'm glad to see she's been arrested, career panhandlers are the worst.
It's just so sad that because of these people I can't give beggars and panhandlers the benefit of the doubt anymore.

It's always hit or miss for me with homeless people. I've known one for almost 5 years now. First met him when he had a busted lip from some guys who jumped him, dude looks like he's in his late 60s and I see him take his bike from place to place sifting through garbage cans . Real nice guy though he usually makes small talk and gives me life advice. So I usually give him about a dollar or two.
Then you have the opposite of the spectrum where one homeless guy called me a fatass outside a fast food restaurant because I was gonna get food and not give him money for some

Yeah the video had a really shitty vibe to it. I'm sick of these assholes going around publically exposing people instead of dealing with the situation in a more responsible manner. You can tell that all he cares about is self-promotion and how many clicks he's gonna get on the video. Pretty scummy to abuse a shitty situation for your own personal gain.
