Kitten Academy is a place for kittens to learn to cat. If you're here, you probably already know who we are and what we do. Fundamentally, we are kitten foster parents, who work with local no-kill animal shelters to rescue kittens and mother cats from kill shelters and animal control. We care for the mothers and kittens until the kittens are old enough to be adopted, then we work with the shelter to help them get the kittens adopted to good homes. Everything we do is to help raise awareness for foster kittens generally, and to help get the kittens we foster adopted, specifically.
We also hope to be somewhat entertaining. Our most popular feature is our YouTube 24/7 Live Stream. But we also produce short videos on YouTube of the kittens and the Academy staff cats being cats and doing cat things. And of course, provide the Kitten Academy website where there is a blog, and additional photos of the kittens that have attended the Academy.
the cat got the toy out of the box
edit: ITS BACK IN THE BOX
One of the cats hid under a pillow and watching it do that made me feel sleepy.
This stream is cute!
Cats are awesome.
With all these people liking the post, I feel bad for not posting this months ago.
I needed this years ago...
I want to be a cat
Absolutely adorable to watch the mother eat next to two of her kittens.
Sleepy kitties

that's one way to sleep :v:
Even when they're just sleeping it's still precious to watch. Poor kitties tuckered out from all that excitement.
I own a kitten. Got it at two months old, currently four and a half months old.
It's a lot more work than the videos show, I'll say that much.

the guy behind it will sometimes come into the room and talk to the chat exclusive to patreon (couldn't moderate against trolling, there's a "no sads" policy), he'll give details on what he does to keep them healthy.
D'aww. It's funny, the day I first saw the stream I finally got my cat to sit in his fancy cat bet we got him years ago.

gone from titty streamers to kitty streamers. life is actually starting to look up.
i just saw a dog in the background
i want a refund
me and my girlfriend keep kitten academy on pretty much 24/7 since our internet doesnt have data limits
its the fucking shit, especially if you have other cats in your house, its hilarious
[editline]31st December 2016[/editline]
its also hilarious how the kittens find new and imaginative ways to try and hurt themselves
in the last litter they had (ivy's league) they bought a new, taller cat tree (the one they have now) and put it up near the windows. well, they had drapes near the windows, so the cats would jump off the tree, deploy their claws, and scale the drapes assassin's creed style to get to the camera near the roof
I didn't get to see them climb, didn't know they jumped from the thing to the curtains.
I remember the guy talking about the curtain situation.

sprigs batch has been adopted,
fresh batch of kittens have recently been baked.
bumping because enough people liked the stream, and there's a big enough change to warrant one bump, and plus little baby kittens are so adorable.
I approve of this stream.
ooh cats
They've got a new batch of kittens

reminds me of when i got to see my own cat give birth to her own kittens. she died about a year back and we've got her buried in the backyard with flowers that grow out of control to mark it. her babies are still with us, though. wouldn't dare think of parting with the two. cats, if you can manage em, are wonderful to have. not much managing, but they will love the shit out of you if you treat them right.
With all of the negativity I encounter everywhere, especially on the internet, it's nice to unwind and watch this stream for a little while

So cute!
I had two litters of strays born at my old house. The first was four and the second was seven. The first four all got adopted after they were adolescent. The second litter completely disappeared. We were moving to a new house and bringing boxes back and forth for a few days, and then one day when I got home all seven of the kittens and the mom were just, gone. There's absolutely no way anything caught them because there were just too many, and we were there for two weeks after that and none of them ever showed up. They literally just packed up and left one day and I still can't figure out why. I really wish I knew what happened. It was nice raising them.
Here's some pics of me torturing them.

This guy was from the first batch. I called him Grey.

They stayed outdoors and I flea treated them and they were all really happy and content.
