Haha, yeah. When it even [i]thinks[/i] about sleeting in mid TN two things happen. One: Everyone runs off the road. Two: Everyone that doesn't run off the road clears out all the fucking bottled water like it's some sort of deadly blizzard.
If that happened here in the UK it would be all over the news and everybody would be using the words treacherous ice and shouting where is the grit !!!!!!

It was like this walking out of the school for lunch last thursday, I wasn't a retard and I just walked in the snow instead so I wouldn't fall on my ass.
One kid biffed it hard on his ass while running out of the doors to go to his car because he didn't notice the ice before running out of the doors. It was hilarious.
Anyways, it was a death wish to even drive in this shit on that day before they salted the roads. I heard of a lot of accidents from all the ice.
I live in Florida.
Haha I was in this rain. I ate it on the sidewalk like 5 times in one day. It hurts. It snowed a fuck ton today too, had a tough time getting home.

I had to go to school in this shit, and I was late more than I should have because I had to stop after I watched someone slide out and crash into a divider.
I must have seen 4 or 5 wrecked cars a long the freeway that morning.
It's kinda funny to us Northerners who are so used to this it doesn't even phase us.
Also I had no idea you could slide like that in freezing rain. I gotta try this now.
I live here and can testify it was like this.
I almost got in a car accident because of it.

I live in North Ogden and it came down hard. Couldn't get my car up my street/
We were supposed to get a blizzard once, and people cleaned out the grocery stores of emergency supplies, like bottled water, etc. Not a single flake fell, and it was actually kind of a nice a couple days after that.
