(search function yielded me no results so posting) Yeaikno Ghost Recon franchise sux balls (for some people anyway) and this one's cover looks like fucking Modern Warfare and rabble rabble rabble etc But screw the criticism the trailer's awesome so I thought I'd post it anyway Oh, nothing to do with gameplay but whatever :smugdog:
That video was cool, but hopefully if the game is any good it doesn't have that shitty DRM on the PC.
I liked the last GRAW.
Damn they should do a movie with these kinds of effect !
Can't wait for actual gameplay
Seems too action-y to be Ghost Recon. I remember Advanced Warfighter 2. That was the hardest game I've ever played.
Looks really good.
Badass, I just hope the game is nice and slow-paced.
nice
Awesome
I hope the don't go all Modern Warfare action movie on us. I hope there is still some the slow paced tactical gameplay but I would like it even more if when there is a firefight it gets chaotic and tense. I love the invisibility cloak, it could ad some replay value as in you try a mission trying to be as stealthy as possible or you can go guns blazing on a second play through. that's what I did with Crysis to add replay value, try it all stealthy, then play again guns blazing, and then combine the two for extra fun.

First they turned the tactical Rainbow Six series into a Hollywood-blockbuster, then they turned Splinter Cell into a Jason Bourne inspired game, and now Ghost Recon as well I guess.
Ah, the good times when teasers, trailers and in-game cinematics were done using real-life actors... No full-cgi bullshit.
operation "TAKE DOWN OVERLORD" very subtle
Ah, the good times when teasers, trailers and in-game cinematics were done using real-life actors... No full-cgi bullshit.
When was this?
Ubisoft, you done it again.
A bit too futurey for my taste
The trailer looks really nice, but I wonder what the actual graphics'll look like.
Badass, I just hope the game is nice and slow-paced.
As long as they don't hire another company like GRIN to do some shitty ass wannabe tactical game. They completely ruined GRAW on the PC.
The cloaking looks awesome. You could be like The Spy on TF2 :haw:
Now that looks awesome and it's probably representing the game well unlike another awesome live action trailer *cough* ODST *cough*
Fucking barrets.
Can game developers just leave the Russians alone for once?
I'll buy this because parts of it takes place in Norway.
Can game developers just leave the Russians alone for once?
For video games, the cold war never ends.
Can game developers just leave the Russians alone for once?
Face it, most Americans are sick of the middle east now, and most of them have never even seen a Russian town, let alone experienced being there. What's more is there's still a little bit of anti-Russia cold-war hanging over in a lot of American minds. This makes them the perfect target for an enemy in a video game. There, psychoanalysis of why they keep picking on Russia. I admit, however, that Russians are becoming the new Germans of video games.
Feels like it's awkwardly stuck somewhere between Modern Warfare, 2142 and Red Alert 2
Face it, most Americans are sick of the middle east now, and most of them have never even seen a Russian town, let alone experienced being there.
The trailer looks really nice, but I wonder what the actual graphics'll look like.
Well it did say "*actual in-game footage"
I just shat 2 bricks. AWESOME :D
Hmm, may be quite cool. I thought the cloaking guys when I first heard about it would be rediculous if it was in the same context as GRAW 2 but if this in like a seperate technology universe type of thing then it could be pretty funky.
