The CGI could use some work
Why even name this world war Z.
All it's going to do is piss off the fans of the book.
The sound effects could use some fucking work, dear christ at the end I felt like I was watching Tom and Jerry with the wosh sound at the end. Still looks like a good popcorn flick though.

Goddamn fast zombies. Seriously. Y'know I'm all for respecting everyone's opinions but anyone who thinks fast zombies somehow make things more "interesting" or "necessary" should know that fast zombies [I]were not in the bloody book![/I] So why on earth should they be in the damn movie? :(

Will see this movie just for the plane scene.

It already has, the movie has long been far away from the book and its a damn shame. I can understand movies getting bad adaptations where they change a bunch of things for drama, but christ, you couldn't even tell which person was a zombie/infected in the trailer. It was all just one big ball of bad CGI swarming over everything like a bunch of human-sized angry ants. The only things in this movie that'll be recognizable will be some name drops. "Guys, guys, look its World War Z, we have the Battle of Yonkers after all!" I really wish they'd drop the name, but its pretty much just locked in at this point.
Have a feeling that if they used slow zombies the majority of the humans would be brain dead and just run into them and any main character would be killed off by a off camera "surprise" zombie.
I remember when they were filiming some of the scenes in George Square. Trying to make it look like it's still in the US

Honestly it still looks kinda decent. Obviously once you abandon all hope of anything Max Brooks related of course, but really the trailer made it seem pretty neat.

world war z should be done as like, a mini series, so each episode could be like 1 of the little stories in the book. not this stupid shit

I think the quicker conclusion would be that someone was bit and hit it, but it appears in this universe, if your bit, your also ripped to shreds by a mountain of zombies.
Pretty sure i remember most people here going all crazy when this was announced. But in the end it seems pretty mediocre, but that doesn't take away that this will be a popcorn movie.

I don't remember anyone going crazy over this, everyone was bitching about how horrible it was going to be because it didn't follow the book at all.

At the point the teaser was posted and a few production shots i am fairly sure people exploded about it
Making a World War Z movie PG-13 was their first mistake.
Haven't read the book, so to me it still looks pretty interesting.
Adaption or not, this just looks stupid.
I'm going to watch it, and I'm going to enjoy it, probably.. hopefully.
i remember when they tried to make Glasgow pass as somewhere in the US, people getting their picture taken next to the classic yellow taxis, was pretty cool walking amongst it
It's PG13, hence why so much shitty CGI and not a drop of blood. That CGI of crowd zombies looks so terrible.
It kinda looks like they did the Israeli quarantine alright, except for the part where it was overrun by a mountain of zombies.

Well slow zombies can be pretty hard to render as threatening in a movie.
