Never played Doom before but I found the video very interesting. I just like reading about the old days on the internet in general.
Wish more games had some sort of theater mode that lets you replay entire matches like this. It's such a useful tool.
Oh wow, this is great and with photos of the event too.
Around 96' I remember having a couple of Marathon2: Durandal Multiplayer demo files that I either got from my school's 14.4k internet or some magazine CD. Speaking of said CDs many would have massive packs of maps for doom & other FPS shooters of the day.
