the unorthodox warfare and surprise attacks
I guess you could call human wave tactics unorthodox and it would be rather surprising, but I still have my doubts.
It will be a three-day war alright, but it won't go the way they planned
Video doesn't at all address counter attacks, actual defense, or the strategic bombing of their own outposts and forces.
Sure, they COULD take over south korea, for all of a few days before being absolutely destroyed for it, and the remains of their armies being hunted down for the next month, if they don't surrender or starve first.

While it won't happen like that at all, the video doesn't lie about the North's abilities. They can, for instance, shoot a half million artillery shells at Seoul within the first hour of war, and they do have 3000-4000 strong armor division.
Doesn't mean they'll have any chance, but they will be able to do a lot of damage nonetheless.

Hahah no, a war against guerrilla tactics (assuming North utilizes guerrilla tactics) tends to drag on for years with huge civilian casualties.

I know, I overexaggerated, but my point is there's still obviously no way NK can win this gig
No 7 hour war?
Fuck!

Guerrilla tactics won't last very long with a starving army of poorly equipped, poorly trained soldiers.
Why would they show their citizens battle plans?
is it to inspire them?
it just seems really dumb, even children know, not to show your enemy what you plan to do.
But god damn, they really seem set on having this war with the world.
I'm not a religious man, but i hope and i pray, that they come to their senses and understand how terrible this will be if they go through with this plan
Storm troopers :v:
I love how they talk about "suprise attacks" and yet they put their entire battle plan on youtube.
I'd be surprised if they managed to get 1000 malnourished screaming soldiers over the border without getting turned into mincemeat.

From what I know they don't use human wave tactics but actually prefer guerrilla warfare tactics.

If they're being invaded then no doubt they would try that but if they are the ones invading then good fucking luck. Guerilla tactics don't apply very well to invasions and if they made any offensive move, it would be doomed to fail.
Of course no-ones really worried about them invading, they're worried about Seoul getting blown to shit and whatever nuclear strike they do. It's like trying to take out a crazy guy with a knife, just a matter of not getting hurt in the process.
They might have spent their entire military budget, and ammunition, On this video.
What's that music?
You could've just shown us gameplay from a Total War game and we probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference :v:.
What's that music?
NK-pop, one of the great things that will be lost after the war.

Here is another popular song from the glorious nation of Best Korea.
Do you people seriously think that they would post their actual battle plans on a site that they know everyone can see? They wouldn't be that stupid.

I think the question should be, "Are they that stupid?"
thats a lot of firepower
I think the question should be, "Are they that stupid?"
do people seriously not get that north korea is doing their absolute best to provoke us/US to attack first?
i thought it would already be obvious at this point

If they're actually stupid enough to provoke them, then they're probably stupid enough to think an invasion would work.
The real reason for this whole stunt is to build support within his country. Kim Jong-Un is a new leader who gained a reputation as a fat spoiled kid and didn't help his case by seeming tolerant of what has for ages been the absolute enemy. He needs to make a big show and regain his status as great leader if he doesn't want even more unrest and the lead-up to a war is the easiest way to do this.
And here we see the US, waiting for NK to make the first strike so that they could be totally destroyed in 3 days.
I don't know how waves of NK soldiers running through the Dmz will fair against the automatic IR turrets.

Imagine if they actually do that, what a bloodbath.
