"EA have been trying their hardest to take that (worst publisher) title back..."
I totally agree, TB.
£50 to have chances of preordering the standard digital edition of that new star wars mmo because apparently the digital product is limited. :suicide:
I thought it was 50 USD not 50 Pounds

Artificial scarcity. A major dick move for something that doesn't actually exist as a product.

Also the 5 pounds is not extra. It's a down payment.
I thought 50 quid was like 60 USD, but it's 85? What the fuck is EA thinking?

The Europeans always get the wrong end of the shaft when it comes to video games.
Seriously, what the fucking jesus titty fucking christ is ea thinking. Limited copies.....of a digital game.....
So, how much quid was Portal 2 on release? I'm just curious. Obviously, I live in America, and can't really tell. Are games usually 50 pounds?

I think it was £39.99
Perhaps there are limited products keys because they have a limit on how many people they can host on their servers and having a "server is full" message too often will result in what they've calculated as more complaints.
Or EA could be living in some alternate universe where up is down and left is up.

Artificial scarcity to probably drive hype as the game is being rolled out. I can't ever remember that working for the better. Everything points to it being a bad game given how EA is handling it.

£25 to preorder, £29.99 on Steam otherwise.
I'm also guessing this will backfire, horribly.
isn't the point of a preorder that you're spending money to make sure you have the game when it comes out
not that you'll have a chance to get it when it comes out
i'm pretty sure you'd be denied a preorder if the vendor knows they won't have enough stock to provide for an overabundance of customers. at least, that makes sense.

But now publishers play games with consumers' patience by selling it to them as soon as possible, so for EA to do this they are almost bring it back to the original.
