This was in Denver, as the date the video was uploaded and the name states. Impossible to go to a concert the day before it happens. Still it was amazing, I had the day off but couldn't be bothered to want to go.

(Unless it's aerosmith or some ridiculously popular shit band like that).

Schneider seems to be the only person vaguely happy in that photo...
Still it was amazing, I had the day off but couldn't be bothered to want to go.
Disgraceful.
Did we ever just let them use their normal pyrotechnics? Because that's basically the other half of the show. I remember them not even being allowed over here because of it.

Now I have very serious regrets :c
Now I have very serious regrets :c
Looks like proper pyros to me Yeah you really should've gone , there were strong hints that this could be one of their last tours , if not their last.

Bad time to quit IMO
Why would they make it their last? Bad time to quit IMO
They're all getting old. Till said himself that once he gets to about fifty he doesn't want to sing anymore , if you look at all the "incident" videos, they've making quite a few mistakes ( Schneider's the main culprit , but when you have the pressure of trying to keep the beat it's excusable ) - plus a release of a "greatest hits" album isn't the best of indicators. Richard's also got his own project to work on , the significantly inferior Emigrate... However they did try to stress in the making-of videos that they aren't quitting just yet , but that was before a couple years of touring...
Because of cirumstances kinda beyond my control (at least at the time the tickets were available), I could not see them in Worcester, MA. Which really fucking bummed me out. Prior to that show, they had not played there since the incedent in 1998, since they didn't like dealing with that shit. Who fucking knows when they will come to a venue reasonably close to me again....
The Worcester show was fucking awesome, by the way.

David Gilmore is 66, still touring. Paul McCartney is 69 and still going. They're in their 40s, which is pretty much mid-life for this kind of thing. Besides, even if they did quit, they'll do what everyone does. Get low on money, announce a come back tour, do it a few more times, and make more than they ever made.
