BF2 project reality mod
Fuck I loved the shit out of that mod. BF2 is still the Battlefield game I loved the most, all the mods made it so awesome.

Yep, just got it because I got BF2 free from that whole Origin mess, quite a few full servers.
It's such a damn shame BF3 doesn't have mod support.

Daily players is around 100 - 400, they are consistent though. Dedicated little community
I still play BF2 quite often. I would waste hours killing bots.

Project Reality for BF3 would be amazing, though they could always do what the people who made Darkest Hour for RO1 are doing and just make their own game.

I don't play much because it's difficult to actually get into a server since they're all usually full
Project Reality is probably the best mod to a game in a long time. My favorite map was the one between US and Insurgents in a city and we needed to destroy weapon caches. Needless to say when you see a civilian driving a car toward you blaring Jihad music you know how fucked you are in an instant.

I used to play this all the time. The vietnam maps are great. Then i lost my bf2 cd key. Fuck playing BF3, nothing compared to project reality. And mostly everywhere they stopped selling BF2.

Everywhere but Steam.
When EA switched to Origin I lost my BF2 key.
With the recent Origin fiasco I was able to get BF2 once again.

Sorry about the MW2 thingy at the end, but hey, I got a nice amount of butthurt children whining about it in the comments.
Oh man.. I remember playing PR a decent time ago, I was in a bomb truck(the one with the huge missile in the back). I got up behind a Tank, somehow that didn't know I was there, and the gunner wasn't looking.
I started honking my horn, and bumping into them, the gunner turned his turret and I instantly hit my destroy button.
I could hear the allah akbars from around the world.
I have at least 300 hours clocked in this mod. It's just so awesome with Mumble :)

That video reminds me of those numerous times when I am peering throught a scope and spot a guy doing the same looking right at me, before I manage to react I am dead or pinned. Latter is never the case with snipers. I always imagine that I get shot throught the scope and into my eye everytime it happens when I am sniper.

Memories fill my mind of playing as an unarmed Civilian on cache maps and running up to American soldiers surrendering while also showing my team where enemy positions were. Been shot so many times but it was hilarious.
Project Reality is some of the most fun I've had in an online FPS. I really love the mumble thing with proximity voices. Remembering happy days running around with other like minded people as civillians and mobbing americans so that they get shot.

And the unhappy day when I was guarding an outpost and all of a sudden it was like a zombie mob of surrendering civillians. But some of them threw rocks at me and I got mad and killed them all. That was a long respawn time.
