I've noticed this about a lot of the stuff Blizzard puts out lately; I think the earliest I started noticing it was with Diablo 3's dialog. It feels really akward and blunt, like it's written for children or something.

The art and animation is great though. It's pretty amazing that we're getting such high quality shorts to advertise a game (not that it hasn't been done before, i.e. TF2's meet the..., but these are surprisingly good)
