I think Doug did a good job reviewing this, going in-depth on the effects and whatnot.
I guess I'll see for myself once I get the digital version of the movie.
this guys still a thing?

Regardless of your opinion on the Nostalgia Critic, Doug Walker is an interesting guy to watch/listen to.

Any anyone who hates him for some dumb arbitrary reason is really dumb themselves.
I honestly hate some of the Nostalgia Critic stuff, having skits of him and his friends, along with other, honestly obscure, reviewers for "crossovers" and such. It feels so forced and cringy, especially Les Miserables one where they did parodies of some of the songs. The reviews themself are fine and dandy, but a lot of it is so awkward. Don't get me started on the forced, "edgy" intro with him and a gun. God, I hate that.
These are minor things that take up only a bit of the time of the videos, but when they do take up the time, I hate them.
Doug Walker himself, on the other hand, is fun to listen to. I love following his Avatar vlogs.

I like him, but people are entitled to their own opinion.
This made me pretty excited for it, good to know he was being honest about it.
Can't wait to see it
People tend to forget that Doug Walker and The Nostalgia Critic aren't the same in terms of how content is presented.
When Doug is just himself discussing a movie or topic he's actually got some very interesting opinions and perspectives. The Nostalgia Critic character has always been a hit or miss; as well as the series. Some of the reviews are actually pretty entertaining when he's not regurgitating forced jokes, screaming into the camera, or forcing one of the many uninteresting cameos into an episode.
