I've seen enough of these British bike lane rage videos now to feel like the bike lane just doesn't make any sense over there. Where even is it? or do you just share the driving lane?

Bicycles are treated as vehicles in the UK, but try telling that to most motorists.

Not defending people who try to run others off the road, but honestly though it is pretty frustrating getting stuck behind any slow-moving vehicle. Even more so when that vehicle takes up such a small portion of the road and there's just barely not enough room to pass by safely. I don't encounter bicycles often and when I do its usually on country roads where its easy to just pass em.

So pass them, don't run them off the road or into a wall. Cyclists have just as much to be on the street as cars do. Just not the highway.

not sure how it is as a standard over there, but from this particular clip it looks like an extremely well biked road, with a tiny shoulder that may or may not actually be marked for bikes (which the dude is screaming that the biker should have been using)
You can see people walking past at 2:46, and while they're shoulder-to-shoulder a second person already has his foot over the line, it's a pretty thin strip. You could only really fit one bike in any direction (with it being oncoming traffic compared to where this biker was headed), without having to go around each other via dodging into traffic. It's probably also a footpath and bikers are supposed to prioritize using the road
