[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzWP05Jh0bg[/hd] I remember a lot of people saying "Let's see some gameplay!" and we have some now.
This looks like some great fun to play with friends.
Yeah Turtlerock! Great developers, IMO the unsung heros of CS:S and L4D.
"The most intense game of hide and seek" I would say it's more of a game of "Hunter and Hunted" that seems like it can change at any second.
Wow that looks super pretty.
Oh man, i can see so many opportunities for mod support. Please have mod support, and not just Workshop content.
Oh man, i can see so many opportunities for mod support. Please have mod support, and not just Workshop content.
I can see all those weird brony and furry mods already, although hunting and burning furries is something desirable I must admit.

Adam Sessler is awesome. I was pretty sad when I figured that him and Morgan Webb were out of a job when Xplay got cancelled.
Do want

It looks like it could get boring, quick. If it's just one monster, people will eventually learn the tips and tricks on how to inevitably kill it. If the maps are linear and provide no work around for a sneak attack for the monster, or no way around for the humans to approach the monster, then it can become boring. If it's going to be like Left 4 Dead in terms, then I don't see it going very far. Apart from that, it does look pretty. The animations look stiff, though on some weapons.
Well they did not mention how many monsters, but they said there will be more than 1. Each with different play-styles. I would not think the maps are linear, its on the cryengine after-all. And the reason probably is because of the size of levels which cryengine supports, and the thick forest biomes which they mention source engine not doing well in. They also mention stealth and tracks which could answer your question of humans/monsters approaching one another.
i wonder what kind of monsters they're gonna make. a xenomorph-like, stealthy creature would be really cool in a game like this

And I'm fairly certain that it's either the monster or hunters that find each other. I don't think there will be any guidelines on how to find each other. Like the video said, the monster has a 25 second head-start to feast and the hunters have to find it. That could mean that your team could sneak up on it, who knows. It's either that, or the monster finds them.

Holy shit this game looks fun.
Even though I'm really excited for this game, I don't really like the first monster golaith, the way it moves looks too "human", with it being bipedal. There will probably be Quadrupedal monsters. Also how cool would it be if a monster that looks like this will be in the game! : [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ZCulKK8.jpg?1[/thumb] From pacfic rim, otachi.
the monster evolving reminds me of giants citizen kabuto
this needs a Predator mod.
If this has mod support, I'm betting within the first month we'll have a kaiju/godzilla map within the first month.
this needs a Predator mod.
needs a predator gamemode, if I had a game like this I'de like to be hunted as a human from the start then just be a hunter for big game. I think the hidden type gamemode would work best to complement a predator model.
Could be really great, let's hope the monster is fun to play so it doesn't turn into a game of "Who gets stuck playing the monster"
Looks great, but I hope it runs smoother than Crysis 3 did. I was lucky to play that game above 20fps on a GTX 460.
come to think of it I think it would be great if there will be mod tools that is more robust then l4d.
jesus fuck I need this game
theres so much they can do with the monsters a charging one that is slow and relisilient and doesn't deal a lot of damage unless it gets enough momentum, but can easily incapacitate the hunters if he does a flying one, that can swoop down and attack the hunters (maybe even has an attack where he grabs a hunter and takes them away?), but dies easily if it attacks them head on, and is vulnerable to harpoons and, as me and someone else said already, xenomorph and predator inspired ones would also be great
Adam Sessler is awesome. I was pretty sad when I figured that him and Morgan Webb were out of a job when Xplay got cancelled.
Adam Sessler was out of a job long before Xplay was cancelled. They sacked him and kept going with Morgan and whatever that unfunny dude's name was.
If this has mod support, I'm betting within the first month we'll have a kaiju/godzilla map within the first month.
kaiju monster and mecha hunters would be fucking ill
