Didn't they build a very expensive studio in the past?
That looks rubbish. What's the point. Edit : Though the walking infront/behind of the graphs is cool.
Didn't they build a very expensive studio in the past?
I think ITV or Sky News or something had a ridiculous setup for the UK election a few years ago.

why do the british people care about this to this extent?
why do the british people care about this to this extent?
It's fun.
why do the british people care about this to this extent?
Because the US President has a massive influence on world affairs i.e. they could start a war with Iran which we would inevitably be involved in. Also because of the special relationship, and because Obama is almost unanimously viewed as a fucking boss here [editline]5th November 2012[/editline] Furthermore, it's fun [editline]5th November 2012[/editline] International newspaper front pages when Obama was elected
They could use a bit more fancy grapchics. :P
I guess I can see why it might be strange to Americans, considering how little attention the US media pays to other countries' affairs, but in the UK American elections get a lot of coverage. Obamacare also got a lot of coverage when it was going through Congress, and SOPA made headlines worldwide because of the blackout. The election has been the top story on BBC at various points over the past week
Early days? The election's tomorrow
I meant the technology.
It's kinda like us Americans watching English Parliament, we've got no clue whats happening or what anything means but its fun to watch.
Except I would make the claim that a lot of British citizens know more about our candidates and political system than a great deal of Americans.
Except I would make the claim that a lot of British citizens know more about our candidates and political system than a great deal of Americans.
I wouldn't doubt it, a lot of people I know are voting for a candidate just because their parents are voting for them.
Except I would make the claim that a lot of British citizens know more about our candidates and political system than a great deal of Americans.
I dunno, a lot of people here only know Mitt Romney as that bloke who rocked up, slagged off our Olympics, and forgot Ed Miliband's name [editline]5th November 2012[/editline] Which is why it's hilarious and slightly offensive when Romney says Obama has ruined America's image and standing in the world. He hasn't, everyone here loves him.
I dunno, a lot of people here only know Mitt Romney as that bloke who rocked up, slagged off our Olympics, and forgot Ed Miliband's name
A lot of people here only know Mitt Romney as that guy who supposedly wants to kill big bird and Obama is the guy giving out free phones to enthusiastic black women.
Didn't they build a very expensive studio in the past?
No, looks like they had a similar CGI studio in 2008, but it's only one part of the coverage, the entire thing is not set in the CGI room
Obama is almost unanimously viewed as a fucking boss here
please take him
