Windows movie maker fucking up after splitting a video.

I'm trying to string together some videos, cutting out intro's and such, but repeatedly after splitting the intro's out, the remaining video locks up on it a few seconds later, that clip not being able to play. Every time. Any idea? EDIT: If it matters, was wmv's.

No idea, but you could try virtualdub. It's free and works pretty well for me.

Some shit I read makes me think I should also mention having vista SP1.

Virtualdub can't use wmv's.
