It also reached its funding and blew away its goals and I don't understand the world.
Perfect. Exactly what an old lady whose fingers can barely move needs. Twice a device she can't even see or understand.
Wouldnt you rather just make a phone with 2 virtual screens which you can swap between with a press of a button, and a bigger battery? 436K pledged for this... Maybe i should make a kickstarter project to get a slice of that easy cake.
I really don't understand this. You want a phone case with a touch screen that runs apps? Just buy any case and turn the phone over...
You don't even need to scam people anymore. Just say "We are offering you 2 phones glued back to back, we need your money to do it" but say it with big words and make it sound complicated.
I gave them $300 after the grandma dabbed, whatever they're doing I want in on the ground floor
It doesnt even look good as a iphone cover if you get rid of the android phone part
BUT MOM ITS HAS AN OLD LADY DOING DABS
There's this thing called YotaPhone2. https://yotaphone.com/us-en/ Android phone, where the back panel is an E-Ink touchscreen.

Because some people just want to use both OSes at once, I guess? I really don't get the concept either, and I thought of this phone the instant I saw it as well.

E-ink only needs to use power to flip a pixels state and it will stay that way until it actively flips it back. This is why the eink kindle can go a month on a single charge.

It took a few seconds for me to realize that was the display. My mind was blown. The concept of e-ink is incredible and I wish more devices would try to use it. Readability is great and I think that phone linked up there is a nice application of it. Would like to see more stuff like that.
