To be honest, I think that's really mean.
As long as the kid gets the candy at the end I don't think it'll scar him.

It might hurt the kid's trust for their parents, though.
you can tell who are the good parents and who are the crappy ones
I agree, it does seem awfully mean even if the kids get the candy at the end.
You can't undo emotional trauma.
WELL SHE'S A BITCH
oh god these kids
and whats with you guys, it's just a little prank, you guys are treating it like it's child abuse
As long as the kid gets the candy at the end I don't think it'll scar him.
It's exploitative all the same - these parents making their kids cry for their 15 minutes on some TV show.

you can't undo it, but you can give them the candy and cause them to get cavities :eng101:

Same can be said about Santa. What kind of child would lose trust in their parents for lying about eating their candy?

Oh no emotional trauma over a lie about getting their candy eaten by their parents!
guys, they're kids, they'll forget this in about 2-3 days
don't overreact over everything
give this to fp to transform it into child abuse
Is lying to kids about Santa child abuse too?
Putting the child abuse shit aside for a second, why is watching kids cry for 6 minutes funny anyway?
give this to fp to transform it into child abuse
It's worse than Youtube comments with animals.
I've never found these pranks funny.
Think about it....I'm sure some of us have some childhood scars. I mean let's not forget ourselves, shall we? Was anything not getting a very material thing like candy a traumatic part of our childhood? Even if there was something we really cried over, did it really hurt us. You guys amaze me with thinking this is detrimental to the well being of kids.
Kids aren't good with emotions anyways. Just because some of them cry over it and whatnot doesn't mean it's truly a terrible thing. I can recall plenty of times when I was younger when I through a shitfit or brokedown over say not getting a game, being able to watch a TV show, go over a friends house, etc. Despite my fragile mind, the things that effected me were not things like what we see from this video.
Jimmy Kimmel is probably tied with David Letterman for me in being my least Favorite late night hosts (I mean they all have their moments of glory that I enjoy, but there are only a few late night shows I enjoy on a consistent basis). This is one of those few exceptions where I go man Jimmy Kimmel is awesome.
lol these kids are all mad when the reality is that all kids do is eat their parents food
my mum took my candy once and I became a racist misogynist sociopath
thanks Jay O'Fallon
Eh, about time they learned not to trust mom and dad.
My parents did this to me when I was little and all I said was "yeah right, I can't even eat all that candy. Now where did you put it?"
Its so easy to see the difference in good and bad parenting.
Bad: BWAH I HATE YOU NOW IM GOING TO KICK THINGS AND ACT FLUSTERED BWAH
Good: Well that wasn't very nice. Or the ones who giggled, like the girl jumping up and down and the boy saying he was going to kick them in the butt.
Felt really bad for the little black girl who said it with such dismay though

Facepunch will literally take anything and make an extremists argument out of it.
It'll be a matter of time before facepunch get featured on Jimmy Kimmel for this thread.
hi Jimmy Kimmel! Put me on TV!
and then please have someone email me because I don't watch your show and wouldn't know I was on it
Jesus listen to some of you guys, no wonder this country is turning into a bunch of soft pussies
It's a 10 second joke that leaves the kids smiling for fucks sake
I expected the tough guy looking one to punch the camera or something for a second.
The kid in the green shirt at 2:55 is fucking gold
Kids who took it well are the best ones.
