Did he change how he did the motion blur? it seems different. [editline]25th July 2017[/editline] Blog post http://www.accursedfarms.com/freemans-mind-2-episode-3/
I'm glad he's taking the time to evaluate situations that are the obvious conclusion from a gameplay standpoint but seems extreme from an in-universe perspective, like hopping the train.
He's also not blowing everything up with the barrels.
And moved that one explosive barrel like if it was full of liquid. Tiny little details.
The metrocops are so relentless that Freeman became desensitized to killing them in less than 8 minutes
I love the idea of Kleiner putting freeman in a bright orange suit and setting him up as a distraction. And the phrase I just got Kleinered.
Snip im dumb
Man, this game seems from so long ago now, but I still remember each little part.
He sounds a bit angrier now too.
He sounds a bit angrier now too.
Well he did ask for Hawaii and got City 17 instead.
Well he did ask for Hawaii and got City 17 instead.
He's also not getting his breakfast.
He's also not getting his breakfast.
Yeah, come to think of it Freeman didn't eat anything since he got on the tram back in Black Mesa, too, so that isn't helping.
Yeah, come to think of it Freeman didn't eat anything since he got on the tram back in Black Mesa.
There's plenty of busted vending machines, he might have munched a bit during his escape. No proper meals, though!
Yeah, come to think of it Freeman didn't eat anything since he got on the tram back in Black Mesa, too, so that isn't helping.
he did at least eat a bit of the bad nachos he got
what if the series ends at the moment where freeman dies of starvation, just as he's about to face breen [sp] still better than the ep2 cliffhanger [/sp]
love how he called out the illogical vent :v: good stuff as always
love how he called out the illogical vent :v: good stuff as always
That vent bothered me ever since I first played the game. So glad he called it out on it's heinous bullshit.
love how he called out the illogical vent :v: good stuff as always
one of my favorite things about freeman's mind is when he points out weird stuff he finds, like the box smashing room or the freezer that doesn't have any kind of loading bay

I remember watching it in middle school. Fuck.
Ross will be in his forties by the time this finishes
I'm actually amazed he decided to do go ahead and do Freeman's Mind for HL2. I remember towards the end of the "1st season" and him churning out Civil Protection, he was getting really fed up with editing and recording in Source due to it's finicky bastard nature. Obviously there's differences between time consuming Machinima and comparatively simple gameplay recording/editing with FM. But from what I understood from him answering fanmail and his pursuit of other projects I thought he was basically done with FM. I'm glad I was mistaken, I really missed this series. It'd never work, but I'd like to see him sneak in Lost Coast somehow, like he did with the original HL demo in Lambda Core.
I am disappointed that he did not reference his old April 1st video when Barney gives him the crowbar.

Completely inexplicable both in and out of universe and just there because they needed to have a not-cutscene.
Jesus that first video was originally posted nearly 10 years ago. I remember watching it in middle school. Fuck.
I remember joking with friends that Half Life 3 would be out before he finished Half Life. How wrong was I.
This whole series is just a buildup to Ross going insane with a gravity gun.
I'm really wondering what happens when he meets the first friendly Vortigaunt about 1 minute after where he is now.
He should have Gordon kill the friendly Vortigaunt and his train friend out of habit, only restraining killing further Vorts because of witnesses. Would take him like, 90 episodes before he catches on that they're cool dudes now.
