My first video- Future Of the world in countryballs

Please give me feedback, this episode is just the start of a series.

Mostly setup and establishing characters.

Any ideas for where the series goes from here would be appreciated.

First issue here: If you're using Polandball characters, at least follow their way of speaking and typing.

Second is there's a lot of useless characters in this story that uses like 1/10 of them. Cut them out if they don't do anything.

Third is that it's soooooooooooooo boring. You have no voices, no animation, and this very chill music that fits none of the situations. It's 3 minutes of people waiting for the next dialogue to pop up, complete snore-fest.

Fourth: The dialogue box which is the [B]entire focus of this 3 minute video[/B] is too small compared to the rest of the image.

You need more visuals to it, more audio. As it stands, this will get you nowhere. I think you should [B]not[/B] continue the series as it currently is. Rewrite how you present it, perhaps get some actual animation in it, maybe some voice acting, and then try again.

This is currently more fit to be a written story than a video series.

Ok fair enough, I assumed people wouldnt like the polandball way of speaking, also war starts in the next episode so it does start to get more exciting, but I will still work on getting animations for it and voice actors.

It's how you've executed it that makes it boring, not what the content is itself (though that doesn't do it much either)

It's just reading text, with some boring sleep-inducing music, that's it. That's your whole video. You need funny voices READING the lines so there's audio and some effects on the video else the viewers may as well go and read a book

I combined parts 1 and 2, added in more exciting music, a war animation and increased overall speed.

Voice actors will come in the next draft

This is the image that comes after the war scene ends, and then it says to be continued.

I'm sorry but this is pretty terrible for a plethora of reasons already described above, primarily in both the execution and the content itself.

The "art style" of the video is absolutely flaccid and shows absolutely no attempt to appear professional or high quality. Every image used is borrowed/stolen from the internet without any credit given to the original sources; these images are also cropped and stretched leading to terrible jpeg artefacting and a general messiness one might see in an eight year old's first drawings in MS Paint.

You live in the United States and your first language is probably English, but the number of spelling errors that could be avoided by any amount of attention is staggering and it's almost insulting how little effort was put into the quality of the dialogue. The writing is asinine and the dialogue falls flat and carries neither humor, historical accuracy, or even accuracy to the "polandball style" of mixed unicode and engrish.

Then we come to the whole premise itself, and why this video was even made to begin with; polandball comics are funny (when they are funny, and even then they've fallen out of use recently, which makes this video even more cringey) because they represented real and accurate historical events in a humorous way, poking fun at the cultures being represented in the comic while retaining a sense of identity for each of the characters. In this video, not only is the traditional "language" of polandball completely misused and replaced with your poor grammatical structure and awful dialogue, the actual events taking place have no place in reality or modern politics and seem to play off of the most basic and trivial understanding of current events. The entire "plot" is literally a child's attempt to describe the general events that have taken place between 2014 and 2016 yet the video shows the year as being 2017, and when it does become "original content," you present a fictional and unfeasible "ground war" with ISIS that isn't even remotely likely or interesting to watch because of just how silly the whole premise is.

That leads to asking why this video was even made to begin with. It is not funny, and the attempts at humor are vague, subtle, (or in your face stupid; "hey canada clubs baby seals isnt that sooo funny!!") and far from anything more than overused polandball memes and wacky~ emotes. You literally use "-_-" non-ironically either to express emotion or to convey humor, and both reasons are awful. The entire video is 4 minutes of a stock song you gave no credit to, and a chat feed between countries, with entire seconds of the video showing no dialogue at all, and in multiple cases, showing dialogue between countries that is unrelated to the "plot" that attempt to lengthen the video time with unnecessary and unfunny jokes.

You have the entire screen comprised of the terrible quality stock image world map, as well as the stolen polandball images of conflicting art styles, and nothing actually happens. The majority of the video is said static image with absolutely no relation to the actual "story," and you copy-pasting the already used polandball icons in another location of the screen followed by your god-awful dialogue. At the end, the "military animation" is just as poor quality as the rest of the video, a terrible collage of static images showing MS Paint styled brushes overlaying another stolen stock image with absolutely no attempt at quality. Hell, you even spelled the word "aggressor" incorrectly, and your text is artefacted to hell. (this is true for the entire video though, where the story UI is just literally basic shapes in MS Paint) It's as if you require Google Chrome to even ensure you spell basic English correctly, because a video you're supposed to be putting real work into doesn't even have basic quality control.

The video isn't even ironically funny because it's just that bad. You claim the video is satire but the content is so ridiculously low quality and non-funny that you can't even call it satire, because that requires some semblance of structure and wit to poke fun at the status quo or general events, and this lacks both entirely. Who are you even to attempt to describe an alternative history (which you can't call it, because this is the future, thus it's not "alternate" it's just "possible") to begin with? You definitely have no significant understanding of politics aside from general CNN/FOX news articles, old polandball memes, and stereotyped depictions of countries. ("lol canada says sorry and russia is alcoholic and america loves war amirite lololol." Jesus fucking Christ.)

You should work on establishing a reason for creating content before continuing with this "series." I could be more forgiving of the videos if there was legitimate heart or effort, but the clearly rushed and unfunny dialogue, stolen artwork, unoriginal plot-lines with no sense of structure or cohesion, overused and old "jokes", generic unfitting music, and the general laziness and lack of pride or effort mean that I can't even say "you just need a little practice," because the video is terrible for deeper reasons than just because it is bad.

Go back to square one, develop actual skills, try to make content that you spend more than ten minutes on, research real history and predicted world events, and stop being so damn lazy. Once you have done all that, then you can tackle the issue that is most important, and that's making the video actually fun and interesting. This has not even come close to being able to focus on that issue.

Even if this is ironically bad, it's still boring as fuck to watch and would put anyone to sleep.
