Apparently he hates having to hit enemies more than once which means he doesn't like challenge. Funny thing is DMC3 has a one hit kill mode but it works both ways. I agree that MMOs need to move away from fetch quests and shit though. Also cheap deaths? Those games were trial and error. I could complain about every damn point he made. Immersion isn't the only fucking thing you need in a game. Angry birds isn't remotely immersive yet tons of people play it. Why? because its fun.

#3 is wrong, there is something called being narrative immersed which is when the story makes you wanna keep playing the game, this usually what the Final Fantasy series goes for.

This was dangerously close to being the RWJ of gaming videos IMO. He should just get to the point, and focus on witty narration instead of random clips of crap.

I sort of agree with 3. I like to look around and move during the cutscenes, but only sometimes. The last 2 games I played are an example. Dead Space: move around. Dead Rising 2: animated cutscene. It wouldn't work the other way round. And the DR2 cutscenes aren't that long to me. Just a few seconds, and what's that these days?

This was pretty good, the only problems being cheap deaths had terrible examples and the game clips he used were taken from random youtube videos uncredited. I'd probably like this guy if he actually got the footage himself and knew exactly what he was talking about and showed exactly what he meant.
