Not as obnoxious as the last trailer but still, go fuck yourselves Sony.
At least you can always take a trip down memory lane with the proper adaptation.

This movie offends me greatly.
i feel like ive seen atleast 10 different adaptations of peter rabbit in the past 2 years
Not as obnoxious as the last trailer but still, go fuck yourselves Sony.
I dont see the issue. Seems like a good movie to me.
Sony Pictures is the issue.
Sony Pictures is the issue.
Sony Pictures is less of an issue and more of a cancer that needs to burn. I find it absolutely amazing that after all of the dumpster fires Sony Pictures has had their hands in for the past few years, that they're still in business.

I thought this was some sort of fever dream or whatever, but this actually fucking exists, and it's just as beautiful as I recall it be, animation, backgrounds and soundtrack included.
I dont see the issue. Seems like a good movie to me.
Turning a well known and beloved series of children's books and turning them into a loud, shouty mess. A slightly better trailer isn't going to stop that being the case. Beatrix Potter is or rather was something of a local writer where I am from, her books are not just children's stories but represent the area that I grew up in, the tone, the language, and the spirit of it. Written with understanding and respect for the audience reading them. This movie is looking to do the exact opposite to that; making something loud, brash and obnoxious, casting whichever flavor of the month comic actors may be popular at the time and not a northern accent among the lot of them.
should have used this art style to remake watership down
Brought to you by the good people at Sony.
I feel most sorry for the cg artists. Sure, they get paid good money for good work, but it's gotta be spiritually draining to do stuff like this and the emoji movie. They know it's bad, but the next several months are going to be spent getting paid to work on schlock like this. Cg artists don't get paid enough to do stuff like this..

All that work for such a mediocre movie.
You would think after so many failed attempts at animation. Someone at Sony would have thought "Huh. Maybe we should try making something good for once" But no. They keep sending shit out in hopes it will make some money instead of making something that WILL make money.

Sony, please die.
nothing warms my heart more than classic children's media in hyper-realistic mixed live action
Why do they always seem to use a song that's just about fading out of the spotlight?
Why do they always seem to use a song that's just about fading out of the spotlight?
Probably because they decide to use the song when it's in full swing, and then with the time it takes to produce the film to a state where they can show it off with said song, by the time it's ready, the song is fading out. This is what happens when something that is an inherently slow process attempts to ride short-lived trends. It always ends up being behind.

The board of people who approve this shit must be like "The kids will love this! Trendy music for trendy people!!"

The Watership Down remake looks great!
The McGregor clan has more dignity then this.
This looks better than the emoji movie at least.
Why is it that of all the accents, an exaggerated English accent irritates me the most?
This looks better than the emoji movie at least.
cholera looks better than the black plague at least
