Duude i loved the anime. Shame never got around to finish it.
This trailer looks amazing and the characters look spot on! Though, after the live action Last airbender and Attack on titan I've lost a lot of my hope in turning cartoons/anime into live action movies. Hopefully they don't mess this one up!

the manga was absolute garbage
but this seems to have good production value at least
I wish there were more pseudo realistic 3D films like these.
It's like watching a mix of Final Fantasy CGI due to the anime-derived style and animation turned into realistic-looking design, and Michael Bay Transformers due to the bombastic destruction and explosions alongside fancy special effects (although I guess they're not exactly movie FX if it's rendered alongside everything else properly, huh)..
This leaves me conflicted.

It was a decent survival horror manga up until [sp]the vaguely explained vampires, the MC had double trouble, and whatever the goddamn ending arc was.[/sp] Don't forget the gratuitous yet casual sexual assault. I think the peak was the [sp]Nurarihyon Arc.[/sp] It was amazingly gonzo and fantastic.
