I enjoyed that a lot more than I thought I would, glad to see Dennis Leary is getting a serious role in movies again.
I like this Spiderman. Spiderman was always about being snarky and wise-cracking.

The CGI looks good but I agree, I don't like the design.
Should have a snout.
Although I guess they decided not to in order to make his face more human and easier to notice the facial expressions.
Looks weak.
Looks better than the older trilogy.

I never did like Emma stone though, gingers ruin everything, even play Gwen.
I don't mean that in an internet tough guy way, she is not all good as an actress.
Personally I think Emma Stone is a fantastic actress.
My only beef is how the lizard looks. Also it is kinda stupid them calling it Amazing even though it borrows heavily from the Ultimate plot-line.
Why don't they just make a kickass lizard costume for some marshiall arts stunt guy to go crazy in. It would've looked so much better than most of the crap CGI getting churned out in these blockbuster Hollywood movies. Just look at the Star Trek movie from '09, those alien costumes look amazingly real.
Considering he doesn't seem to have a snout they could indeed have used prothethics. Although the hands, feet and tail would need to be CG, because they're huge. So they probably decided to just go CG.

I'd say his head looks shit, rest of him looks......ok he's missing the labcoat and snout that's my main gripe with him
well. They got the witty quips right. Maybe i won't be so disappointed with this IMO weird reboot. I was really into what they did with the other 3. Even if Toby is a tad soft and serious.

Yeah, ok, there are some issues, but I think making the smaller things be big issues misses the point of good story and good acting.

The old spiderman was pretty badass, as was the suit, but I think the new one which is more slender and thin suits the agility rather well. The suit could use SOME change but over all it's pretty bad ass. The old Parker is thin, obviously, but not quite as much as the new one, he's still a bit "Husky" compared to him.
He doesn't look like a nerd though. How is he supposed to act like a nerd if he looks like he could be in a twilight movie?
