Even without a 4K TV, if I didn't get a PS4 at the beginning of 2015 I would still get a Pro on the principle that it has better hardware and could play games at 1080p with better performances and have arguably sharper visuals in limited cases. FFXV could really benefit from such stable framerate it has on the Pro at 1080p compared to the normal PS4.
